Birdies & Horsepower
Birdies & Horsepower is the First Annual Hometown Foundation, Inc. Golf Tournament! We will be kicking off our Dream Ride Experience 2019 with a day of golf, cars, cocktails and charity! The day will begin with a golf tournament and we will be ending the night in celebration at the Farmington Polo Club, while enjoying a Polo Match, Car Show, Dinner, Cocktails and Live Auction. Birdies & Horsepower is proud to be raising awareness and funds for The Hometown Foundation, Inc. and The Dream Ride Experience 2019! Connecticut Children’s Medical Center will be our featured charity for this year’s event.
The Hometown Foundation, Inc.
The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their families in hometowns and surrounding communities where we operate. The Hometown Foundation, Inc. honors and assists five distinct areas of interest including animal welfare, emergency response personnel, major illness, individuals with intellectual disabilities or in need and the military. The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is the charitable arm of Bozzuto’s Inc.
Dream Ride Experience 2019
The Dream Ride Experience is the signature fundraising event of The Hometown Foundation, Inc. The Dream Ride Experience is more than just an event; it is a movement of making dreams come true 365 day of the year. The Dream Ride Experience has evolved into a year-long community commitment to celebrate the achievements of our Dream Riders. The Experience honors these men, women, and children living with intellectual disabilities in our communities and highlights their determination and willingness to persevere, overcome challenges, and shatter stereotypes. The Dream Ride Experience advocates for inclusion and building friendships amongst not only the Dream Riders, but also with the participants and attendees.
