Dream Ride is an event to celebrate the achievements of our Special Olympics athletes. It is an opportunity for us to highlight their determination and willingness to persevere as we recognize their efforts to overcome challenges and shatter stereotypes. Dream Ride, simply stated, is a weekend to applaud and honor these outstanding men, women, and children living with intellectual disabilities in our communities.

The Ride - for motorcycles

Dream Ride 2013 is back and better than ever!! Since its inception in 2001, Dream Ride has donated over $1,725,000 to help Special Olympics, and its popularity has grown exponentially. Last year’s Dream Ride attracted car and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Canada and the Eastern Seaboard to unite in Connecticut for one important cause. For those unfamiliar with Special Olympics, the organization prides itself on fostering lifelong development of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We are pleased to announce our renewed partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. This is Special Olympics’ largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness campaign. Annually, more than 85,000 volunteer law enforcement officers carry the Flame of Hope™ alongside Special Olympics athletes into the Opening Ceremonies of the local competitions and State, National and World Games. The Torch Run reaches 40 nations, 13 Canadian provinces, and all 50 United States. By the time the Torch Run ends, millions of dollars are raised for local Special Olympics. We're proud to ride out in the 12th year with our official sponsors, Bozzuto's Inc. and The Hometown Foundation, Inc. and hope you join us for another spectacular year.

The Dream Ride 2013 Team genuinely thanks all of our outstanding sponsors, participants, volunteers and the emergency personnel communities for their unending enthusiasm, generosity, and commitment thru the years to this event. We personally invite you to join the Dream Ride weekend experience on August 23–25, 2013, where riders from all over Canada and the Eastern Seaboard converge in Connecticut for Dream Ride 2013. This will be another exciting year as we expand our reach yet again by having satellite start locations as far north as Canada and as far South as Florida. The new satellite start location from West Palm Beach Florida departs on August 16th as motorcycle and car enthusiasts will start their 7-day journey to Farmington Connecticut for Dream Ride weekend, picking up more participants as they go.

The Show - for automobiles

Dream Cruise 2013, Dream Cruise 2013, presented by Papa’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a chance for automotive enthusiasts to not only show off their cars and trucks but an opportunity to cruise into the Dream Ride celebration area with a Special Olympics athlete. So whether you enjoy two, three or four wheels, this is one event where we all ride together.

The Dream

Continuing the mission of Dream Ride, the much-needed funds will go directly toward the thousands of Special Olympics Athletes living in your communities. As an organization, Special Olympics helps foster lifelong development of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Bozzuto’s Inc. and The Hometown Foundation feel fortunate to be partnering with Special Olympics and raising funds for such as worthy cause. As we continue to grow, we would like to make sure you are aware that all donations raised in a particular state, are donated back to that state’s Special Olympics program. However, we cannot do this alone. The success of Dream Ride and Dream Cruise is due to all the support and donations received from people such as yourself.
